Myra’s Kids Foundation
Giving children a safe place to honour and understand their grief.
When a child loses a loved one, their world changes forever. Grief can feel confusing, heavy, and lonely, especially for young people who may not have the words to explain how they feel.
At Myra’s Kids Foundation, we create safe, supportive spaces where grieving children and teens can feel understood. Through connection, care, and community, we help them begin to heal, one gentle step at a time.
All of our programs are offered at no cost to families.
Our Programs
Summer Camp
A transformative weekend where children come together to share their stories, honour their loved ones, and build friendships with others who understand loss.
Family Camp
A retreat that supports families as they grieve together, strengthening connection and creating space for shared healing.
Winter Camp
A new retreat created especially for high school students and young adults up to age 21.
Winter can feel especially heavy when you are grieving. Winter Camp offers a calm, supportive weekend away, where older youth can slow down, breathe, and connect with peers who understand what loss feels like. With small groups, gentle activities, and trained support, participants are given space to talk, reflect, or simply be, without pressure or expectation.
Support Groups
Monthly support groups led by grief professionals, offering ongoing connection and guidance throughout the year.
At Myra’s Kids Foundation, we help children and teens honour the people they miss, understand their grief, and discover that they are not alone. We walk alongside them with care, compassion, and hope, today and into the future.
